Direct access of producers to the end consumer and vice versa, is a trend that started in Greece in 2010, when the multiple promoting expenses of products, led to very many closures of agricultural and manufacturing activities of basic products.
Starting on a small scale of typical Greek products, mainly in the food sector, the activity plans to offer, in the retail market, though an e- shop, directly to consumers, the choice and the access to labeled quality products at very competitive prices, directly to the consumer’s premises. The concept also includes promoting very small local productions and home made goods, which usually do not have the means of addressing distant consumers.
This project is expected to ‘kick off’ in the 2nd half of 2014.
